It’s not always easy to make space for ourselves. Life can be demanding, and sometimes we don’t realize how much we’ve been carrying until overwhelm sets in. You may feel stuck, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of your next step. These experiences are deeply human—but they don’t have to be faced alone.
Therapy can offer a space to slow down, tune inward, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. I see our work as a collaborative process: you bring your lived experience, and I bring presence, curiosity, and care. I show up as a real person—warm, grounded, and attentive—while still asking the hard, honest questions that help us go deeper. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to shift so you can move toward greater clarity, resilience, and fulfillment.
Specialties & Who I Work With
I specialize in supporting people who:
-
Feel things deeply and often feel misunderstood or dismissed by others
-
Struggle with relational patterns that repeat, even in new relationships
-
Experience social anxiety, relationship anxiety, perfectionism, or obsessive-compulsive tendencies
-
Feel stuck, depressed, or unsure how to create a more meaningful life
-
Are grieving the loss of a loved one or adjusting to a painful new reality
I also work especially well with clients who are motivated, reflective, and open to taking what we uncover in therapy into their daily lives. The more honest and vulnerable you are able to be, the deeper and more transformative our work can become.
Relational Focus:
I am particularly drawn to helping clients understand and shift the relational patterns that shape their lives. Our families often lay the groundwork for how we show up emotionally and behaviorally in the present. Exploring these early dynamics can bring powerful insight and open the door to more intentional, fulfilling connections.
Therapy Approach
My therapy style is affirming, direct, and relational. I show up authentically and invite my clients to do the same. Together, we build a safe, trusting relationship that becomes the foundation for meaningful emotional work.
Our sessions create space for deeper self-awareness—an opportunity to explore your emotions, patterns, and internal world with compassion and curiosity. Whether we encounter anxiety, grief, shame, or uncertainty, we face these experiences together.
We’ll gently uncover habits or beliefs that may have once helped you cope but now feel limiting or painful. Through this process, we create room for new choices, greater alignment with your values, and a deeper sense of peace.
Background & Training
I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s in Psychology with a focus on spirituality, mind, and body. I have trained in somatic and trauma-informed approaches and have worked in a variety of mental health settings that have enriched my learning and strengthened my commitment to this work.
These experiences allow me to integrate mind-body awareness, relational depth, and emotional insight into the therapeutic space.
Location & Availability
I see clients in person at our Midtown Manhattan office near Grand Central and virtually across New York State.
I accept Aetna insurance, offer sliding-scale options, and provide superbills for other insurance plans.
Sessions are available on weekdays and evenings.
