More About Sarah

Hi, I’m Sarah, a psychodynamic and relational therapist in NYC specializing in sex therapy, relationships, and trauma healing. I also work with adults and young adults facing anxiety, body image concerns, and life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, understood, and empowered to move toward healing and growth.
Sex Therapy

I specialize in helping women heal from sexual trauma, navigate shame or fear around intimacy, and rebuild trust after infidelity. I also specialize in helping individuals who have been unfaithful navigate the aftermath of infidelity and rebuild trust. Many of my clients come to me feeling isolated, disconnected from their bodies, or uncertain about how to move forward after painful experiences. In our work together, I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can process your story, release shame, and reconnect with your sexuality and relationships in ways that feel empowering and safe.

Therapy for Emerging Adults

I also work extensively with college students and recent graduates who are navigating the challenges of early adulthood. This stage of life often brings transitions in identity, relationships, career, and independence. I help young adults manage anxiety, self-esteem struggles, body image concerns, and the pressures of academic and social life. My goal is to provide guidance and support as you build resilience, explore who you are becoming, and develop tools for long-term well-being.

Therapy for Adults Across the Lifespan

Beyond young adulthood, I also support adults of all ages in addressing life stressors, relational challenges, and personal growth. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, recovering from disordered eating, struggling in your relationships, or moving through a major transition, therapy can be a grounding space to reflect, process, and heal. I bring a relational and psychodynamic lens to our work while integrating practical skills so you feel supported both emotionally and in daily life.

My Approach

From early on, I knew I wanted to be a therapist. What I’ve found is that real healing happens in a relationship where you feel seen, safe, and understood. I value body-positivity, sex-positivity, and anti-oppressive practice, and I bring warmth, humor, and authenticity into the room. Drawing on my training at Florida State University and New York University, I combine deep insight with practical tools to help you develop self-compassion, resilience, and clarity as you move toward growth and healing.
