relational, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and somatic approaches, and combine it with a deep

Meet Our Founders
Vanessa Kensing, LCSW
& Sarah Spitz, LCSW
Vanessa and Sarah met in 2016 and connected over a shared
therapeutic philosophy. After establishing successful psychotherapy
practices of their own, they joined to found Holistic Psychotherapy NYC
in 2020. Vanessa now serves as Clinical Director, while Sarah is the
Director of Clinical and Administrative Operations. Together, they’re
proud to lead a team of connected, compassionate, collaborative, and
culturally conscientious practitioners—supporting people like you on
your journey toward healing.
